INVITATION TO BID

BOYS AND GIRLS VILLAGE

UPPER SCHOOL CLASSROOM ADDITION

Bids Due: SEPTEMBER 24th @ 2 PM

Separate, sealed bids for the following bid package for the BOYS AND GIRLS VILLAGE

UPPER SCHOOL CLASSROOM ADDITION in Milford, Connecticut, will be received at the

Boys and Girls Village program services building at 528 Wheelers Farm Road, Milford, CT

06461. All Bid Packages are due September 17th, 2024 @ 2:00 PM, and then, at said office,

will be publicly opened by the construction manager and owner.

Each bid must be submitted with two (2) copies. Late bids or bids received at any other location

will not be accepted.

We will hold a mandatory pre bid walkthrough for all bidders on September 4th at 3 pm at

the Boys and Girls Village program services building at 528 Wheelers Farm Rd., Milford

CT. 06461. We will meet in the front parking lot and walk as a group with BVG personnel

for access to the proposed addition location.

All contract Documents are available to be reviewed and purchased through the Digi

Print website. Additionally, it is the bidder’s responsibility to verify all bid documents are

received and Bismark Construction Company shall not be held responsible for any incomplete

transmissions of documents.

Bismark Construction reserves the right to award based upon the evaluation of the bid package

in the best interest of the Boys and Girls Village. Bismark Construction reserves the right to

waive any formalities, irregularities, or technical defects in the Bids and award based upon the

evaluation of the bid package in the best interest of the Boys and Girls Village.

This project is being performed under the Construction Management form of project delivery.

With respect to this project, the Construction Manager is the representative of the Boys and

Girls Village and shall have full authority to carry out all the terms and conditions of each and
